Glenda Nixon

Glenda is a positive thinker who believes anything is possible. One of the first female partners in Australian accounting practice, Glenda became Sydney’s Managing Partner in 2003. A former CPAAI International Board Chair, she is also an international sailing champion.

Glenda is known for her ability to solve complex tax issues and help clients understand the practical implications of her advice. As she says, “Clients don’t want overly technical explanations, they want to know how it affects their business.”

Over the years, Glenda has chalked up many ‘Felsers firsts’ – establishing our tax consultancy in the ’80s, managing our first ASX listing in the ’90s,  assisting an Australian listed company to enter China and Vietnam in the early 2000s, and at the forefront of transfer pricing  in the 2010s.

Glenda’s current focus is on tax minimisation strategies, international tax, transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting. She assists overseas companies to structure themselves correctly from a tax point of view, particularly our German multi-national clients, and advises on the tax aspects of their activities in Australia. Glenda also helps Australian companies expand overseas.

On the local front, Glenda loves helping small businesses develop into large ones and crystalising their wealth through a successful sale. Her experience spans industries such as tourism, retail, pharmacies and high-tech to sports and entertainment.

Glenda is a sought after speaker at international conferences and an occasional university guest lecturer. She has many long-standing international relationships in Germany, Austria, China and India, a network which benefits her clients and keeps her abreast of global tax and accounting issues.
